PRODUCT ENGINEER

As product engineer within Sprague you will be focusing on the reverse engineering the repair for End-of-Life computing hardware.
Within Sprague, we are looking for a talented Product Engineer to join our engineering team to meet new repair demands and increase our repair yield within our Board Repair department.. Within this department PCBA’s for Tape Drives, Network Switches, Storage Controllers, and Servers are being repaired.
Our new Product Engineer must have the talent and perseverance to identify the causes of failure and find the right solutions that meet our quality standards. To be successful at Sprague, you must be able to work with and without schematics to draw conclusions and document them..
After reverse engineering new repair actions, it is time to hand them over to the repair team and, if necessary, train people on new machines that may be required. In addition, you will take your share of the repairs and vary your work routine.

Who are you?
 

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.

• Previous experience in repair or product engineer.

• Experience in motherboard repair or manufacturing.

• In-depth knowledge  digital and analog electronics PCBA’s.

• You have experiencing in reverse engineering independently and report this professionally.

• You report directly to the Engineering manager and discuss plans and ideas

• Advanced analytical.

• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.

• A keen eye for detail.
